In an effort to keep the cost down, we procured from all sources to find the best materials that were appropriate for the job at hand. Hence, the nail cutter and nippers that do the bulk of the hard work are made of Japanese Stainless, or American Stainless. Items experiencing less wear, like probes and elevators, may be made of Pakistani Stainless. Because this selection is such a value, there is no need to sharpen. Just dispose and buy new.
